magazine analysis :

Q magazine is a music magazine where as pride mazagzine is more to do with self care. Both of these magzines have simlarites and diffrences.Both have a close up picture of a persons face which already sets the theme of the mazgzine by just looking at the front cover. pride magazine stands out than Q magazine as they have used more vibrant colurs in their frount cover. where as Q magazine uses more bland colour. 

genre: 

Q mazagine is a musical genre as the frount cover states names of musical artist. pride magazine is more on the self care and health aspect as it has small subtitles mentioning "how self centerd are you?"this is already making the reader think before they have started reading the magzine as a whole.

Representation:

pride represents to be more comfortable as the head shot seems more friendly whereas the male in Q is represented in a non masculine aspect . this may start questions around the audience .

Audience: 

Q magazine may be written for a more older genration who are into keeping up with their music in the old fashioned way as now people tend to use youtube to cathc up the the top songs of the week. where as pride magzine may be written for the more younger genration as it includes very vibrant colurs and bold sub headings which catch peoples attention right away. overall both mazgazines can be read by all ages but a certain age group may read certain magazines .
