No tears left to cry by Ariana Grande is one of her more upsetting songs as the meaning of it becomes clear. The meaning of the song is not put out there clearly as it is  bit more complictaed to understand right away . By watching the musci video once will not reveal the meaning right away it may take a while to wrap your head around it . Her fans may have recived the message right away as they know Ariana has been through a lot in the past couple of years. Her close friend mac miller passed away last year which hit her hard as it was so close to home . Then one of her uk shows was attacked in manchester , which unfortunley caused some of her fans to pass away. This caused Ariana to feel more pain . It is believed that meaning of this song is the manchester show as it caused people too much pain and there are simply no more tears to cry the name of the song . Ariana also said that she felt fake for a while during that period of time as she was not really okay and she shows that by sitting infrount of diffrent face emotions and putting one on after take another emotion indicating she is being forced to put that emotion on by society. She is picking herself up. The use of the camera spinning is to show her thoughts being all over the place and she is just no herself. 

The genre of this song is emotional and pop and the target audince is her fans that were at the manchester show or any onw who has lost someone that day as they are all feeling the same and this song could give them hope as Ariana herself is hurting. Anyone could relate to this song as everyone experinces grief at some point and this is Arianas way of recovering. Overall the song represents pain.
